Spring is in the air, and with Spring comes a strong desire for beautifully chilled Rose’.
For the next month I will be sampling and highlighting my favorite Rose’ wines from Sonoma County, Napa, Sonoma and Monterey County.
Me and a few of my Rose’ loving friends discovered a beautiful Rose’ stemming from a fabulous partnership between Sara Floyd and Pisoni Winery located in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County.
Sara is a Master Sommelier, of which there are only 26 female sommeliers in the world!!!!
With that said, Luli is a wonderful Rose’ that tingles the nose with subtle aromas of strawberry and watermelon. Beautiful acidity with subtle grapefruit, strawberry and cherry on the palate. Light, refreshing and pairs well with everything. I LOVE this Rose’.
Luli is blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Grenache.
